The Starfish Chronicles: Women’s Voices Creating a Ripple Effect of Hope, Healing and Connection (working title) celebrates not only Sue’s transformation from trauma to triumph, but the stories of these extraordinary women.
The book also introduces The Sondering Starfish’s storytelling framework, which is a guide for readers to understand and shape their own narratives with authenticity and purpose.
Much like the starfish, which adapts, regenerates, and evolves, Sue believes our personal stories are constantly growing and transforming. By embracing this evolution, we gain the power to shape our narratives with intention and meaning. Through storytelling, we cultivate a sense of sonder, which is the realization that every person we encounter is living a life as vivid and complex as our own. When we share our authentic voices, we illuminate the unseen, foster empathy, and spark inspiration which can lead to incredible outcomes.

The “Two Gals and a Mic” Podcast
In 2024, Two Gals and a Mic was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to celebrate and amplify the voices of 50 EXTRAordinary women.
At the heart of this journey is Sue Kerver, whose passion for service, adventure, and empowering women has influenced every step of her path. Before founding The Sondering Starfish, Sue set out to have meaningful conversations with women who are honoring their past and stepping boldly into their future.
Through these heartfelt interviews, women shared how they tap into their talents, gifts, and abilities to create success, overcome challenges, and align with their Soul Purpose. By reflecting on where they’ve been, embracing where they are, and intentionally shaping where they’re going, their stories became a source of connection, inspiration, and transformation.
